Active Assistance is seeking an overnight care assistant in Leigh-on-Sea to support a young client with complex health needs in their family home. You will stay awake during 12-hour waking night shifts to meet epilepsy, dystonia, and accessibility needs, with full specialist training provided and ongoing clinical and leadership support.

The role offers advanced monthly rotas, induction training, and DBS checks, with a refer-a-friend scheme and pension benefits.

What you'll be doing:

We are expanding our client base and have a new client in Leigh-on-Sea.

This role is to support our new young client with complex health needs in their family home overnight. Our client's health needs include epilepsy, dystonia, neurological impairment, developmental delay, wheelchair user and visual impairment.

You will be required to stay awake overnight to support the client with all their needs. Full specialist training will be provided.

Shifts:

• Waking Nights
• 12 hour shifts
• 2 nights (24 hours) or 3 nights available (36 hours)

In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.
