Job summary

Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall is recruiting a Waking Night Care Assistant to support a single customer in Crantock. You will stay awake during night hours, monitor health and wellbeing, assist with PEG feeding and suctioning, and hand over to the family in the morning.

The role offers night shifts at £15.46 per hour on weekdays and £15.66 on weekend nights, with specialist training, a Blue Light Card, and a staff referral scheme. DBS checks and references will be carried out.

Qualifications

• Waking night care required for a single customer in their home.
• Ability to monitor breathing, wellbeing and respond to changes.
• DBS checks and references will be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Provide waking night support a few nights a week at the customer's home in Crantock.
• Carry out PEG feeding and suctioning as required.
• Reposition and settle the customer and hand over in the morning.
