Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall is seeking a Waking Night Care Assistant to provide waking night support a few nights a week for one customer in Crantock. The role involves staying awake during the night, monitoring health, and ensuring comfort.

You will assist with PEG feeding and suctioning, reposition and settle the customer, and hand over to the family in the morning. DBS checks and references will be carried out, with a female-only occupational requirement noted.

Formación

• At least one year of complex care experience (essential)
• Confident working through the night and staying alert
• Willing to be trained and signed off in PEG feeding and suctioning
• Good communication skills and clear record keeping
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Right to work in the UK

Responsabilidades

• Provide waking night support to the customer at home in Crantock
• Carry out PEG feeding and suctioning
• Reposition and settle the customer
• Monitor breathing and wellbeing
• Keep clear records and hand over to the family in the morning
