JOB ROLE: Female Wake NightSupport Worker

HOURS:35 hours per week

Please note we require a Female Support Worker over the age of 18 due to a genuine occupational requirement for the people we are supporting making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule.

Cae Deri provides specialist support to 14 adults with mental health needs, including individuals who may also have a learning disability or dual diagnosis.

We support people with a wide range of abilities, including those with more complex or challenging needs. Our focus is on creating a positive, supportive, and enjoyable environment where individuals can feel safe, valued, and at home.

As a Wake Night Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the individuals during the night to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Providing support when needed, including assisting with night-time care routines.
  • Responding to emergencies or incidents that may arise during the night.
  • Maintaining a calm and secure environment, helping to create a peaceful atmosphere for the individuals.
  • Assisting with light domestic tasks as required, such as tidying and cleaning communal areas.
  • Recording incidents or changes in the individuals' condition and ensuring accurate documentation is kept.
  • Working independently throughout the night, maintaining vigilance and attention to detail.

This role requires a calm, reliable, and responsible individual who can work effectively overnight to provide high-quality care and support.
