Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly organised Waiting List Co-ordinator/Patient Pathway Validator to support the management of the Gynaecology waiting list and patient pathways. You will schedule appointments, validate pathways and maintain accurate patient records across clinical teams.

You will work with consultants, theatre scheduling staff and patient access services, delivering high quality administrative support within our PRIDE values and NHS

Job description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Waiting List Co-ordinator/Patient Pathway Validator to support the effective management of the Gynaecology waiting list and patient pathways. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring patients are scheduled appropriately, and their pathways are validated while delivering a high standard of administrative support.

The successful candidate will be working closely with consultants, clinical teams, theatre scheduling staff, patient access services, the post holder will be responsible for monitoring waiting lists, coordinating appointments and procedures, maintaining accurate patient records, and communicating professionally with patients and healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The successful candidate will have a methodical approach to work, be extremely well organised and have a flexible attitude incorporating our Trust PRIDE values. Good communication skills are essential to this post.

The candidate will be responsible for managing waiting lists, liaising with patients and clinicians, and booking diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.

Good IT skills in addition to the willingness and commitment to learn multiple Trust IT systems are necessary. Having strong personable skills is also essential in this role.
