Job summary

Richmond Villages Cheltenham is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join our team. You will set up tables in the restaurant and café, serve meals, and provide room service to residents who prefer dining in their rooms. Bar service applies to applicants aged 18+, with shifts across preferred hours.

We offer permanent positions with part-time or full-time hours. A friendly team and a focus on quality dining experiences for residents are central to this role.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service.
• Experience in catering or kitchen roles can be beneficial but is not essential as training is provided.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Setting up tables in the restaurant and café.
• Serving in the restaurant and café at mealtimes.
• Preparing trays and providing room service to village residents who wish to stay in their rooms for meals.
• Serving drinks at the bar (18+).
• Ensuring the restaurant and café are tidy and meet high standards.
• Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy at all times.
• Supporting other areas as required such as serving meals to or removing trays from residents' rooms or delivering refreshments to other locations in the village.
