Job summary

Richmond Villages in Bedworth is seeking a friendly Host to deliver an excellent dining experience within our hospital-style retirement village food service. You will set up tables, serve meals and beverages, and help residents enjoy meals in their rooms or in the restaurant and café.

We offer induction, ongoing training, and access to apprenticeships. This role includes weekend shifts on a rota and a supportive team focused on person-centred care for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering customer service to residents.
• Some catering or kitchen experience advantageous.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Setting up tables in the restaurant and café.
• Serving in the restaurant and café at mealtimes.
• Preparing trays and providing room service to residents who wish to stay in their rooms for meals.
• Serving drinks at the bar (18+) as required.
• Ensuring that the restaurant and café are tidy and meet high standards.
• Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy at all times.
• May support other areas such as serving meals to rooms or delivering refreshments to locations in the village.
