Job Overview

BaxterStorey is seeking a professional and efficient Waiter/Hospitality Assistant to join our team in London. You will be responsible for ensuring our guests have an excellent dining experience by providing exceptional service and maintaining high standards of hygiene and customer care.

Responsibilities

1. Greet and welcome guests professionally
2. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
3. Serve meals and beverages courteously and promptly
4. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area
5. Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly
6. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff for timely service
7. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
8. Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas
9. Promote menu specials and upsell items
10. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
11. Address guest concerns professionally
12. Participate in ongoing training to improve hospitality skills

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and high service standards
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
