We are recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join our Volkswagen Dealership in Nuneaton. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00, with Saturdays on a rota basis.

Excellent Basic Salary with an OTE of up to £31,000 plus benefits.

A Parts Advisor plays a key role interacting with all areas of the business including sales, service, and our customers. You will be involved in supplying VW parts to the public, trade customers, and our workshops. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with experience and a passion for exceptional customer service for a leading car brand.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Work both behind the scenes receiving deliveries and at the front desk serving customers.
2. Pre-pick parts for workshop job cards, pick parts for customer orders, and check stock availability.
3. Develop customer relationships through inbound/outbound calls, walk-ins, and internet inquiries by providing product knowledge and creating a positive impression.
4. Ensure consumables and service parts are replenished for swift service to workshop and other departments, including trade/retail customers.
5. Handle warranty claims related to parts issues and complete administration accurately, including records and invoicing.
6. Develop knowledge of VW products to understand vehicle parts and their functions.

About you

• Previous experience as a parts advisor in a dealership or motor factor knowledge in a similar role.
• Alternatively, a good understanding of cars and willingness to learn.
• Ability to build rapport with customers.
• Proactive, sales-driven, and committed to excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, able to work towards deadlines.
