Job summary

Planet is seeking a VP of Technology Transformation & Delivery to turn technology strategy into executable delivery. You will lead a Governance and Delivery function, align leaders, surface risks early and drive decisions through to resolution. This is a strategic execution leadership role, not a traditional PMO.

You will own the technology reporting cadence, align cross-functional teams, and partner with senior leaders to ensure delivery confidence and value across initiatives.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in complex, global technology organisations and accountability for strategy execution, transformation, portfolio delivery or a comparable enterprise remit.
• Proven success operating as Chief of Staff, VP of Technology Delivery, Transformation Director, Portfolio Director or equivalent strategic execution leader.
• Demonstrable experience influencing at Executive Leadership Team and Board level with concise reporting and decision support.
• Strong track record of leading cross-functional transformation and evolving operating models, not just managing programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technology delivery function, governance, planning and reporting with a clear cadence and ownership.
• Translate technology strategy and business priorities into a cohesive portfolio, roadmap and execution plan.
• Prioritise investments, manage capacity, funding and delivery commitments for high-value outcomes.
• Collaborate with CTO and technology leaders to convert decisions into milestones and follow-through.
• Maintain portfolio visibility, risk exposure and delivery confidence for executives and the board.
