Job summary

Flo Health is seeking a VP of Security & Infrastructure in the United Kingdom to lead security strategy, governance, and platform infrastructure across ISO 27001 and related compliance programs. You will oversee security operations, data protection, and external trust while guiding product integration with engineering teams.

The role demands senior leadership in a fast-paced, privacy‑first digital health environment, with a hybrid work model and substantial compensation.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing combined Security and Production Infrastructure functions at consumer scale.
• Experience partnering with Product, Design, and Mobile/Backend Engineering teams to ship user-facing features.
• Experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or equivalent certifications.
• Deep technical experience with GDPR, data deletion, retention policies, DPIAs, and cross-border controls.
• Practical implementation experience securing AI models and autonomous agents.
• Nice-to-have: in-house offensive security engineering and mobile platform security.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evolve and communicate Flo’s security strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee Flo’s security programme, risk management, architecture, product security and security operations.
• Define standards for storing, protecting and deleting personal and health data across systems.
• Deliver controls for ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, HIPAA and AI Act compliance.
• Establish governance for vendors, SDKs and external partners accessing data.
• Oversee vulnerability lifecycle and incident response at executive level.
• Embed secure SDLC and CI/CD security controls across development lifecycles.
• Manage corporate IT, access controls and identity/workflows.
• Direct product identity management and security for AI features.
• Set external security expectations and raise Flo’s security profile.
