Qualifications

• Proven executive leadership experience in delivering complex programmes.
• Full P&L accountability for large, multi-year portfolios.
• Strong commercial judgement with bid support and customer negotiations.
• Experience operating at executive level with MoD and export customers.
• Strategic thinking with strong execution and delivery focus.
• Experience leading across matrix and international organisations.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery and performance across the UK portfolio for technical, schedule, cost and quality.
• Lead Programme Management organisation and IPTs to deliver commitments.
• Build relationships with stakeholders, customers, suppliers and partners across geographies.
• Maintain governance framework to enable successful programme delivery with PMO support.
• Ensure compliance with policies and governance while promoting accountability and excellence.
• Own programme authorisations and financial performance within delegated authority.
• Drive profitability and value, optimise financial outcomes.
• Establish stakeholder alignment and integrated ways of working across functions.
• Ensure successful delivery of products and capabilities meeting requirements.
• Provide executive communication and reporting on status, risks, opportunities and decisions.
• Manage risks and opportunities with robust mitigation and exploitation strategies.
• Intervene to address gaps and maintain programme momentum.
• Define and maintain programme governance with clear decision-making and escalation.
