Job summary

Citi Belfast is seeking a Business Analyst / Project Manager to strengthen risk governance for payments and movement of funds. You will help define controls, gather metrics, and drive enhancements across Markets Operations in a hybrid UK role.

Colleagues will work with Operations, Risk, Tech, and Programs to deliver controls, reporting, and remediation aligned with policy and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Business Analyst or Project Manager within Financial Services/Investment Banking, with payments or risk & control exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of Markets Operations and payments/movement of funds workflows and controls is beneficial.
• Highly organized, capable of multi-tasking and owning project parts independently.
• Able to lead conference calls and produce agendas, materials, and minutes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and clear documentation of findings.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance oversight for global movement of funds/assets, supporting ALF/MPIP/LAPC frameworks.
• Prepare governance agendas and materials related to payment metrics and controls.
• Capture quarterly control data and sign off MCA attestations.
• Monitor in-scope applications’ control landscapes and prioritize uplift work.
• Assess deviations to policy; update Processing and Fraud Risk controls as needed.
• Collaborate with SMEs to define business requirements and data elements for controls.
• Analyze Operational Risk Events to identify themes and improve controls.
• Manage tasks, milestones, and stakeholder expectations for payment control initiatives.
