Job summary

Citigroup, Inc. in Belfast is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager to support risk governance and controls across Markets Operations.

You will work in the In-Business Risk Management (IBRM) team, focusing on payment controls frameworks and collaboration with global Operations, Risk, and Technology partners. The role requires strong analytical and reporting skills, experience in payments or risk & control functions, and the ability to lead meetings and drive control improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Business Analyst or Project Manager within Financial Services, ideally with payments or risk & control exposure.
• Knowledge of Markets Operations businesses and payments/risk workflows is required.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and deliver with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support governance and oversight for global movement of funds/assets controls.
• Prepare governance forum agendas and materials on payment metrics and controls.
• Capture quarterly control data and attestations.
• Monitor control landscapes for payment/movement activities and prioritize uplift requirements.
• Assess deviations to movement of funds/assets policies and update procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with SMEs to define business requirements and data elements for controls.
• Analyze Operational Risk Events related to payments and assets to drive enhancements.
• Manage control ownership, tracking issues, and CAP milestones within timelines.
