Job summary

Citi Belfast seeks a Vice President to support European Markets Legal Entities governance and controls, overseeing risk and controls monitoring, audits, and automation initiatives. The role requires extensive market experience and cross-border collaboration.

You will report to the Markets Europe Legal Entity Governance & Controls Head, work in a hybrid environment, and contribute to enhancing control design and execution across Europe Markets.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a similar role within financial markets.
• Experience in internal audit and/or operational risk is preferable.
• Experience with automating controls/processes leveraging AI.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across diverse groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a cross-border environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a robust governance framework for the Europe Markets businesses.
• Oversee risk and controls monitoring activities for the Europe Markets businesses.
• Sponsor and lead process and control automation initiatives.
• Represent the team in Senior forums and working groups; act as a decision-maker as appropriate.
• Ensure controls and monitoring methods are adequately designed and executed.
• Oversee issues and coordinate internal and external audits for resolution.
• Assist in risk assessments, risk inventory maintenance, and control performance monitoring.
• Prepare Senior Management presentations for regular information requests.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
