Job summary

BNY seeks a Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager for the GIA Reconciliations team in Manchester, UK. You will lead key workstreams, coordinate with regulatory and change teams, and strengthen the control framework to ensure accurate financial output.

You will coach and develop team members, manage stakeholders, and drive automation and process improvements while applying deep knowledge of client products and market developments.

Qualifications

• Experience in fund or client accounting preferred.
• Experience coaching or training colleagues is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise changing demands.
• Excellent stakeholder management across internal teams.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with AI/digital tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support workstreams to deliver client outcomes and enhance the GIA Reconciliations operating model.
• Act as a liaison for regulatory matters with change teams ensuring requirements are embedded by design.
• Review and strengthen the control framework; participate in audits and risk reviews as required.
• Update policies and procedures to ensure compliant and consistent output.
• Drive automation and process efficiency through standardisation and improvements.
