Barclays seeks a Vice President for Financial Crime Business Oversight Compliance to provide data-led oversight, challenge, and strategic input on regulatory and ethical responsibilities. You will identify and investigate financial crime risks, oversee governance, and advise senior leadership in a complex risk environment.

You will collaborate with 1LOD and risk teams, lead critical investigations, and drive improvements across corporate and transaction banking products to strengthen controls

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience deputising for a senior Financial Crime leader and representing the function in senior business forums.
• Strong Financial Crime expertise across UK Corporate Banking and Transaction Banking products.
• Experience overseeing the effectiveness of Financial Crime control environments within a complex risk landscape.
• Ability to monitor, assess and communicate emerging Financial Crime risks and remediation activity.
• Knowledge of risk appetite, governance and control improvement frameworks for independent compliance challenge.

Responsabilités

• Provide data-led oversight and challenge on business and compliance matters to evidence regulatory alignment.
• Identify and investigate potential market abuse and financial crime incidents; oversee corrective actions.
• Advise key stakeholders including functional leadership and senior management on compliance impact and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with 1LOD and other risk management functions to strengthen controls and governance.
• Lead or influence multi-year assignments, guiding team members and defining strategic direction.
