Job summary

FactSet’s London-based Vice President, Data Privacy & Technology Counsel will act as the senior privacy and technology legal advisor for the EMEA region, guiding governance and regulatory compliance while enabling responsible innovation, including AI, across FactSet’s products.

You’ll report to the Associate General Counsel in a hybrid role and collaborate with Compliance, Information Security, Product, and Engineering leadership to advance data protection, cross-border transfers, and risk

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in England & Wales (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in data privacy and technology law.
• Deep knowledge of UK GDPR, EU GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, with global privacy regimes including CCPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead global privacy program and policy framework across regions.
• Advise on legal implications of AI, ML, cloud, and data licensing.
• Negotiate data privacy and technology terms in client, supplier, and partner agreements.
