Job summary

BNY is seeking a VPR, Anti Money Laundering/Prevention/Know Your Client Manager to join our AML and Client Onboarding team in Manchester, UK. You will lead onboarding strategy for new clients, ensure regulatory readiness, and deliver a high-quality client experience.

You will oversee cross-functional onboarding teams, design scalable frameworks balancing client experience with regulatory requirements, and drive executive-level engagement for complex relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
• CAMS certification preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Expertise in AML/KYC regulations and compliance practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding strategy and execution for new clients with regulatory readiness and high-quality experience.
• Oversee cross-functional onboarding teams with clear accountability across functions.
• Design scalable onboarding frameworks balancing client experience and regulatory requirements.
• Drive executive-level client engagement during onboarding for complex relationships.
• Mitigate implementation risk through disciplined issue management and milestone tracking.
• Use onboarding data and feedback to refine processes and improve launches.
• Build strong post-sale client relationships to support adoption and growth.
• Develop and implement robust AML/KYC policies and procedures.
• Drive use of AI and adapt to a changing regulatory environment.
