We seek a Vice President, AI Strategy & Deployment to own the full lifecycle of AI-driven value creation across our portfolio in the UK, coordinating engineers and data scientists to move EBITDA. This role blends technology and strategy, requiring hands-on AI fluency, leadership of cross-functional teams,

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience spanning private equity, AI/ML product management, strategy consulting, investment banking, or engineering.
• Managed teams of 5+ engineers, data scientists, consultants, or analysts to ambitious timelines.
• Executive/C-suite stakeholder relationships in PE or PE-adjacent contexts.
• Hands-on AI/ML fluency with ability to discuss architectures, data pipelines, and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Experience shipping ML products, RLHF programs, or GenAI solutions is a differentiator.
• Experience quantifying enterprise value and EBITDA impact of technology initiatives.
• Product management instincts: pain points, scoping, and deployment.
• Operated in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with shifting scope.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI-driven value creation lifecycle for our PE portfolio.
• Evaluate AI opportunities for sponsors within deal timelines.
• Design transformation roadmaps for portfolio companies.
• Manage technical teams through production AI deployments.
• Support investment underwriting for SaxeCap's PE vehicle.
• Lead business development with new partners.
