Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an AI Controls Enablement Lead within Controls Strategy & Innovation in London. You will lead a skilled team with deep AI expertise to translate technical AI activity into actionable controls for business and technology stakeholders.

You will co-develop, coach, and gatekeep across Controls, Technology, and business to make AI-driven risks visible and controllable, while collaborating with senior leaders to deploy scalable AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk or control management within financial services.
• Understanding of AI models, assumptions, limitations, and failure modes.
• Ability to translate complex AI behavior into actionable risk findings within a controls framework.
• Proven leadership and strong internal stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AI controls enablement team to prototype and deploy automated controls.
• Determine cost-effective tools to prototype and scale AI controls across capabilities.
• Run risk reviews with Control Managers and document findings for escalation.
• Lead the AI Controls Council and produce the quarterly Intelligence Report.
• Define measurable outcomes and share best practices across teams.
