Qualifications

• Advanced experience in risk or control management in financial services, focusing on compliance and operational risk.
• Technical AI fluency - understanding AI models, their assumptions, limitations and failure modes.
• Ability to translate complex AI behavior into documented, escalatable risk findings within a controls framework.
• Capability to implement robust controls to safeguard operations and meet regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in process and data analysis to enhance control environments and interpret business needs.
• Good internal stakeholder management to collaborate with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
• Good project management skills and a commitment to operational excellence.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI tools with Citizen Developers and Technology, optimizing control frameworks and signing off tool submissions before deployment.
• Select cost-efficient tools (e.g., UiPath, Python) to prototype and scale automated controls.
• Run scenario simulations and red-team exercises; establish best practices for AI tool review and deployment.
• Coordinate the AI Controls Council and produce quarterly AI Controls Intelligence Report for senior leadership.
