Hampshire County Council's Royal Victoria Country Park in Southampton is seeking a Volunteer Co-ordinator to lead and develop our thriving volunteer programme across heritage, conservation, visitor services, events and community engagement.

You will recruit, train and support volunteers, coordinate rotas, build partnerships with schools and community groups, and provide operational input during events. The role offers a permanent contract, 37 hours per week, with a benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• Experience of recruiting, coordinating and supporting volunteers or similar teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of people.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and a variety of activities.

Aufgaben

• Lead the recruitment, induction, training and development of volunteers.
• Coordinate volunteer rotas and communications across activities and services.
• Support volunteer groups in heritage, conservation, visitor services and events.
• Develop new volunteering opportunities aligned with park and heritage objectives.
• Organise volunteer recognition events and appreciation activities.
• Build relationships with community organisations, schools and local partners.
• Monitor participation and impact, maintaining records and reporting outcomes.
• Support delivery of park events, exhibitions and visitor activities.
• Act as Chapel Duty Officer and provide operational support during events.
