Job summary

Cambridgeshire County Council is recruiting a Volunteer and Health Development Manager for Cambridge Central Library. The hybrid, part-time post leads on volunteering and health projects across the county, reporting to the Library Development Manager.

You will manage the Library at Home service and oversee two Area Volunteer Coordinators, with weekend/evening work and county-wide travel as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and coordinating volunteering initiatives.
• Ability to manage staff or volunteers and build strong partnerships.
• Flexibility to work some weekends/evenings and travel across the county.

Responsibilities

• Develop, promote and co-ordinate volunteering opportunities across Cambridgeshire Library Service.
• Manage the Library at Home service and supervise two Area Volunteer Coordinators.
• Collaborate with Public Health on targeted health projects within the Library Service.
