Salary:£25,183 pro rata (based on 37 hour week)

Are you a people person with a passion for volunteering and community connection?

We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic Volunteer Coordinator to join MySight York, a small but mighty local charity supporting people to live well with sight loss.

Every year, we work alongside over 1,700 people, providing expert advice, emotional support, equipment, and peer-led services that change lives. Volunteers are at the heart of our work, delivering vital services, building relationships, and creating inclusive communities.

With our 2025 – 2028 Strategy in place, we’re looking for someone to help us grow and support our brilliant team of volunteers.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Promoting an inclusive and empowering volunteer culture
• Helping volunteers contribute to befriending, outreach, and fundraising
• Strengthening systems and policies to ensure quality, safety, and best practice
• If you’re a confident communicator, natural organiser, and passionate about people, we’d love to hear from you.
