Job description

We have 15 Hubs running across Surrey, each one takes place two days a month (see map of locations below).

Working alongside a paid member of staff you will:

• Make carers feel welcome by creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
• Help carers to sign in.
• Offer an empathetic and listening ear.
• Direct carers to a Carer Support Advisor for signposting to specific support.

In return, Action for Carers will provide you with a warm welcome and induction, training opportunities, regular ‘check ins’ with our Sessional and Volunteer Coordinator, and agreed expenses.

We are particularly looking for volunteers who can help out in our hubs in Godalming, Guildford, Camberley, Banstead, Merstham, and Farnham.
