HR Documentation & Compliance: Maintain volunteer agreements, track onboarding processes, and ensure adherence to ethical journalism policies.

Employee Engagement & Support: Facilitate a positive work environment by organizing team-building activities and resolving volunteer concerns.

Communication & Coordination: Act as a liaison between different teams, ensuring smooth collaboration between departments.

Performance Monitoring: Assist in evaluating team members' contributions, recognizing efforts, and providing constructive feedback.

HR Strategy & Development: Contribute to the development of HR initiatives, policies, and best practices for TheSocialTalks’ volunteer-driven newsroom.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for team management, recruitment, and organizational development.

Understanding of HR best practices and labor compliance (experience in HR is a plus but not mandatory).

Ability to work remotely and coordinate with a global team.

Proficiency in using HR management tools, Google Workspace, and communication platforms like Slack.

Prior experience in HR, recruitment, or media organizations (preferred but not required).
