Job summary

SSE is seeking a Voltage Complaints Technician to join our field teams across Swindon, Melksham, Andover and Oxford. You’ll work on LV and HV networks, investigate faults, and fix issues in line with ESQCR and safety rules while aiming for rapid power restoration.

You’ll need strong problem-solving skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Certifications in IOSH Managing Safety, City & Guilds 2339, EUSR, NRSWA, and HV switching authorisations are required or in

Qualifications

• Experience in investigations and detailed reports.
• IOSH Managing Safety and City & Guilds 2339 certification.
• EUSR and NRSWA certification.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries about network continuity and security targets.
• Restore power quickly with complete repairs before closing the job.
