Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a High Voltage Technician to maintain and repair HV/LV equipment across multiple London sites. You will work with the Senior Authorised Person (SAP), tackle fault-finding, and ensure safety and compliance while supporting SCADA systems.

The role requires electrical qualifications, HV experience, and a willingness to travel between Thames Water sites. A UK driving licence is essential and a van will be provided.

Qualifications

• Formal electrical trade qualifications or equivalent industrial/utility HV experience.
• Proficiency in fault-finding, maintenance and electrical safety compliance.
• AP15 HV qualification or willingness to train; 18th Edition certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair HV and LV equipment across Thames Water sites.
• Inspect HV and primary LV equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Diagnose faults promptly and keep accurate compliance records.
• Supervise contractors and team members during maintenance.
• Travel extensively to multiple sites and support SCADA operations.
