Job summary

Southampton City Council is seeking an experienced Voids Maintenance Coordinator to support managers in delivering a proactive repair and redecoration service for empty properties, ensuring work is planned and completed efficiently.

You will collaborate with district estate teams, energy suppliers, scaffolding and other contractors, ensuring compliance with policies, budgets and health & safety standards while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent level of IT literacy to use self-service and MS Office.
• Ability to investigate complex information and resolve problems quickly.
• Excellent communication skills under pressure.
• Strong workload planning and prioritisation abilities.
• Understanding of equality issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Work with district managers to deliver effective void repair services.
• Coordinate with energy suppliers, scaffolding and trade teams.
• Promote collaboration with internal and external service providers.
• Ensure work complies with budgets, policies and health and safety.
• Maintain documentation and records for contracts and repairs.
• Provide friendly, professional contact with the public.
