Ian Williams Ltd is hiring a Multi Trade Operative to work in the West Sussex area, performing plumbing, carpentry, tiling and plastering tasks in domestic void properties. A full UK driving licence is essential and experience in social housing is advantageous.

The role offers a guaranteed 39-hour week, weekly pay and potential bonuses, plus a company van and fuel card. We provide PPE, pension contributions, life insurance, and access to wellbeing resources.

Qualifications

• Level 2 in Carpentry or Plumbing is required or welcomed.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Experience in domestic/social housing is beneficial; void properties experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Undertake multi-trade work including plumbing, plastering, tiling, carpentry repairs in domestic settings.
• Carry out repairs such as broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblocks, and kitchen/bathroom fixes.
• Ensure properties are ready for handover, working to deadlines and managing timeframes.
