Job summary

Bristol City Council's Void repairs team is seeking a Painter to undertake painting and decorating in empty council homes, delivering high-quality finishes and excellent customer service to tenants. The role requires a full UK driving license, solid painting skills, strong health and safety knowledge, and the ability to communicate in English (or via a BSL interpreter).

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is required.
• Relevant professional painting skills, knowledge and experience.
• Good knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Ability to operate a PDA.
• Ability to communicate with residents in English, or via a BSL interpreter.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting and decorating in vacant council homes to a professional standard.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants.
• Contribute to improving void turnaround times and customer satisfaction.
• Work in a fast-paced void refurbishment team with strong communication.
