Bristol City Council's Void repairs team is seeking a Painter to undertake painting and decorating in empty council homes, delivering high-quality finishes and excellent customer service to tenants. This role is full-time and permanent, offering opportunities to build skills within a supportive council environment.
The role requires a full UK driving license, solid painting skills, strong health and safety knowledge, and the ability to communicate in English (or via a BSL interpreter).

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bristol City Councils Void repairs team as a Painter. Bristol City Council is responsible for carrying out repairs and refurbishments to over 28,000 homes across the city of Bristol. Ensuring we provide great customer service and good quality homes for the residents of Bristol is at the heart of what we do. We are looking to fill vacancies in our void refurbishment teams.
The role will involve carrying out all aspects of Painting and decorating, within empty council homes. You will ensure work is carried out to a good professional standard and provide excellent customer service for tenants. Helping to contribute to departmental goals of improving void turnaround times and achieving customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a can-do attitude. Experience of working within in the construction industry and trade knowledge are essential for this role.
