Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is recruiting for a Void Labourer / Driver to join an in-house repairs and maintenance team. You will carry out labouring duties, clear void properties, and assist with property preparation for new tenants.

The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence, a basic DBS check, and a practical understanding of health and safety. It offers a permanent position with a company vehicle and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in labouring, construction or property maintenance.
• Confident using basic hand tools.
• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills for updating job information.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labouring duties across void properties.
• Clear properties, gardens, lofts, and sheds.
• Load, unload and dispose of waste and materials.
• Collect and deliver tools, materials and equipment using a company vehicle.
• Support trades operatives with strip out works and property preparation.
• Remove fixtures and fittings and complete basic making good.
