Cover People are recruiting a Vocational Skills Teacher for a secondary alternative provision hub in Egerton, Bolton, supporting young people with SEMH needs. You will lead a class, deliver vocational and practical lessons, and embed literacy, numeracy, and life skills into everyday learning.

This full-time, long-term role starts ASAP to cover maternity leave. The ideal candidate could be HLTA, Instructor, SEMH Teacher or Unqualified Teacher with experience engaging pupils and building positive

Pay Rate: £120 £160 per day DOE
Start Date: ASAP, covering maternity leave
Contract: Full-time, Long-term, Monday to Friday

Cover People are recruiting a Vocational Skills Teacher for a secondary alternative provision hub in Egerton, Bolton, supporting young people with SEMH needs.

This role is ideal for an experienced HLTA, Instructor, SEMH Teacher or Unqualified Teacher who can confidently lead a class, manage behaviour and deliver engaging vocational and practical lessons.

You’ll help young people develop practical skills while embedding literacy, numeracy, communication, independence and life skills into everyday learning.

The Role

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with young people in education or training
• HLTA, Instructor, SEMH Teacher or Unqualified Teacher background considered

• Able to deliver practical, vocational or activity-based learning
• Confident embedding English and Maths into lessons
• Calm, resilient and consistent
• Creative, engaging and passionate about helping young people succeed
