Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Pre-Sales Solution Lead for Private Cloud (VMware) to shape strategy and engage senior stakeholders on transformative data centre projects. You will champion VMware solutions, scope services, and collaborate across Professional Services and Solution Leaders to deliver integrated customer outcomes.

The role requires deep VMware experience, strong commercial acumen and a track record of driving complex Private Cloud initiatives within large enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Experience owning customer relationships from a technical or presales standpoint.
• Deep technical expertise within the VMware ecosystem.
• Experience designing innovative customer solutions aligned to vendor platforms.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify revenue opportunities.
• Experience positioning and selling professional services alongside technology solutions.
• Demonstrable experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 5/9).
• Active involvement in the VMware community (e.g. VMUG, vExpert, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical engagement on complex Private Cloud and data centre transformation opportunities.
• Qualify customer requirements and shape end-to-end solutions based on VMware technologies and Computacenter services.
• Act as the principal technical champion for the VMware ecosystem within Computacenter.
• Build long-term relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Support pipeline growth and contribute directly to sales success for the Data Center & Hybrid Solution Area.
• Scope, define and enable services engagements, including VMware services entitlements.
• Represent Computacenter at VMware partner boards, forums and events as a technical escalation point when required.
