Job summary

Computacenter’s Private Cloud team seeks a Principal Consultant to lead the design and delivery of VMware VCF9 solutions for enterprise customers. You will drive architecture discussions and act as a trusted technical authority across complex projects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor colleagues, and help shape Computacenter’s Private Cloud strategy while contributing to ongoing proposition improvements and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with VMware technologies and VCF/VCP certifications.
• Strong design and delivery track record with customer engagement.
• Broad data centre knowledge across compute, storage, networking, and backups.
• Excellent communication and leadership of senior customer discussions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of VMware VCF9 solutions for major projects.
• Act as trusted technical authority guiding customer design discussions and shaping solution architecture.
• Evaluate new tools across multi-technology environments (Nutanix, Azure Local, Red Hat Virtualisation, HPE VCE).
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Mentor colleagues and evolve Computacenter’s Private Cloud strategy.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of propositions and delivery excellence.
