Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG is seeking a Presales Solution Lead with deep Private Cloud expertise to shape strategy and influence senior customers.

You will drive complex infrastructure transformations leveraging VMware and Computacenter services, acting as a technical champion across the VMware ecosystem. You will collaborate with sales and engineering teams to define value-led solutions, engage senior stakeholders, and help grow the Data Center & Hybrid business as Europe’s leading independent

Qualifications

Proven experience owning customer relationships from a technical or presales standpoint.
Deep technical expertise in VMware ecosystem and private cloud.
Experience designing innovative customer solutions aligned to vendor platforms.
Commercial awareness and ability to identify and develop revenue opportunities.
Experience positioning and selling professional services alongside technology solutions.
Demonstrable experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 5/9).

Responsibilities

Lead the technical engagement on complex Private Cloud and data centre transformation opportunities.
Qualify customer requirements and shape end-to-end solutions based on VMware technologies and Computacenter services.
Act as the principal technical champion for the VMware ecosystem within Computacenter.
Build long-term relationships with senior technical and business stakeholders.
Support pipeline growth and contribute to sales success for Data Center & Hybrid Solution Area.
Scope, define and enable services engagements, including VMware services via entitlements.
Influence vendor propositions and Private Cloud strategy with Group Development and CTO Office.
Represent Computacenter at VMware boards, forums and events as a technical escalation point.
Collaborate with Professional Services, Managed Services, Solution Leaders and Architects to deliver outcomes.
Provide market, proposition and competitive insight from VMware to support sales and solution positioning.
Feed real-world customer challenges back into solution development to stay relevant and compelling.
Work with marketing to translate propositions into customer-facing messaging and sales enablement materials.
