Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer focused on VMware private cloud to guide architecture and delivery for enterprise customers. You will drive VMware VCF9 design and customer engagements at scale.

You will mentor teams, shape multi-technology evaluations, and help evolve Computacenter's private cloud strategy, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with VMware technologies and related products.
• Deep understanding of VMware VCF, vSAN, NSX and Aria Operations.
• Proven track record in solution design, delivery and customer engagement.
• Strong knowledge across data centre compute, storage, networking and backups.
• Excellent communication and confidence leading senior customer discussions.

I am assisting a client with a requirement of a Lead Cloud Engineer, focused on VMWare private cloud.

As a Lead Consultant, you'll be part of a collaborative environment designing and deploying complex, cutting-edge VMware VCF9 solutions for enterprise customers. You'll work alongside some of the best technical minds in the industry, influencing architecture, guiding delivery teams, and helping our customers achieve real transformation in their data centre and private cloud strategies.

What you'll do

• Lead the design and delivery of VMware VCF9 solutions for major customer projects.
• Act as a trusted technical authority, driving customer design discussions and shaping solution architecture.
• Work across multi-technology environments, evaluating new tools like Nutanix, Azure Local, Red Hat Virtualisation, and HPE VCE.
• Mentor colleagues, share knowledge, and help evolve Computacenter's Private Cloud strategy.

What you'll need
