Job summary

Swanage Town Council is seeking a proactive Visitor Services Manager to lead the Swanage Information Centre and other visitor services. The role is 37 hours per week, Thursday to Monday, with weekend and bank holiday work. You will guide a diverse team and implement ideas to improve visitor experiences for residents and visitors alike.

The position offers LGPS membership and 26 days annual leave (rising to 29 after five years). Salary range £31,015–£33,673 and a five-day week in Swanage, Dorset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a diverse range of visitor services and lead the visitor services team.
• Respond to issues across the Council's services and coordinate action with colleagues, contractors and partners.
• Provide weekend and bank holiday leadership and ensure high standards of customer service.
