Job summary
The Lowry in Salford is seeking a Restaurant and Coffee Shop Manager to lead the two hospitality outlets, shaping their long-term commercial success as part of a premier visual and performing arts venue. The role combines people leadership with hands-on operational delivery to enhance visitor experience and revenue.
Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager and Executive Head Chef, you will drive improvements in service, pricing and staffing while coordinating with marketing, programming
Qualifications
- Experienced hospitality manager with strong commercial awareness
- Practical operational judgement and leadership capabilities
- Proven ability to develop teams and improve customer experience
Responsibilities
- Translate commercial targets and visitor insight into high‑quality food and beverage offers across both outlets
- Own operational delivery across Lowry Restaurant and Lowry Coffee Shop, improving service design, pricing, staffing and customer journey
- Lead and develop supervisors and wider teams, setting clear expectations and fostering an inclusive culture
- Collaborate across marketing, programming, galleries, learning, engagement, bars and front of house to align with audience needs and programme
