Lowry is a visual and performing arts venue situated at the heart of MediaCityUK in Salford, one of the world's most exciting culture and media destinations.
We are looking for a Restaurant and Coffee Shop Manager to shape and deliver the long-term success of Lowry Restaurant and Lowry Coffee Shop. This is a commercial leadership role for someone who understands that a strong hospitality offer is not separate from the cultural experience, but an important part of how visitors engage with Lowry before, during and after their visit.
Working closely with the Commercial Operations Manager and Executive Head Chef, you will translate commercial targets, visitor insight and organisational priorities into relevant, high-quality food and beverage offers. You will take ownership of operational delivery across both outlets, using performance trends, customer feedback and trading patterns to improve service design, conversion, pricing, staffing and the overall customer journey.
You will lead and develop supervisors and wider teams, setting clear expectations while building confidence, product knowledge and service capability. The role has a strong focus on coaching, succession planning and creating an inclusive culture in which people are supported to perform well and progress. You will also work collaboratively across marketing, programming, galleries, learning and engagement, bars and front of house to ensure the offer responds to our audiences and programme.
If you are an experienced hospitality manager with strong commercial awareness, practical operational judgement and a genuine interest in developing both people and the visitor experience, this is an opportunity to influence two important parts of Lowry's future commercial offer.
Please note that MediaCityUK is a well-connected destination with a variety of different transport options - bus, car, tram and bike.
The application deadline for this vacancy is 13th October 2026.
Interviews will be on 28th October 2026, please ensure your availability for this date
