Job summary

Talantir in Belfast seeks a Chief Executive and Accounting Officer to lead with strategic vision for identity, inclusion and cultural expression while ensuring rigorous financial management, transparent reporting and compliant operations.

You will partner with the Board and Director to drive a multiyear strategy, oversee budgeting and audits, and manage resources around £1m annually to deliver measurable impact, equity and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ senior management experience with resource management and accountability.
• Experience in arts, culture, heritage, or cultural policy sectors.
• Proven ability to advise at board or director level with strategic policy proposals.
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams delivering outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multiyear strategy advancing identity, belonging, and cultural expression.
• Translate strategy into budgets, KPIs, and annual plans; report to Board and stakeholders.
• Oversee financial statements, internal controls, risk and external audit.
• Lead program design and delivery across cultural programming and community engagement.
• Manage Operations/HR to retain a diverse, high-performing team.
• Establish data, technology, and knowledge practices while ensuring compliance.
