Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Business Development Manager for Vision Care covering Essex & Suffolk. You will drive revenues by partnering with optical stores, store managers, and eye care practitioners, promoting the Alcon portfolio and building strategic relationships to increase market share.

You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and develop sales, marketing campaigns, and investments across leading product portfolios while delivering commercial solutions and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong sales experience with a track record in building relationships with customers.
• Ability to understand customer businesses and identify needs.
• Excellent communication, organisation and learning agility.
• Willingness to travel and drive as part of territory management.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales by promoting vision care products to optical stores and practitioners.
• Grow CL penetration by positioning Alcon as the preferred product line.
• Agree and execute customer interaction plans with the right frequency.
• Network with customers at events and conventions as required.
• Support patient experience improvements and handle administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and other teams to hit targets.
