Job summary

Sky Livingston is seeking an experienced IT professional to join the Enterprise Technology team as part of the Contact Centre Virtual Desktop group. You will support Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop platforms, help drive improvements, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure reliable end-user computing for thousands of Sky colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Azure services and/or Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Good understanding of authentication, remote access and identity technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrable ownership and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd line support technical expertise for Sky's virtual desktop platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues across Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Azure and related infrastructure.
• Deliver infrastructure improvements, platform upgrades and strategic transformation projects.
• Collaborate with vendors, architects, security teams and project stakeholders to drive technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform reliability, automation, monitoring and operational processes.
• Participate in technical reviews, root cause investigations and continuous service improvement activities.
