Job summary

SAMY is seeking a Video Editor & Videographer to join our studio and deliver multi-channel campaigns from on-location shoots to post-production. You will collaborate with senior creatives, capture dynamic footage, craft engaging edits, and streamline studio workflows across global accounts.

You should have hands-on camera, lighting and audio skills, be proficient in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values bold storytelling and creative

Responsibilities

• Support post-production across brand campaigns, hero films, and social content, executing narrative edits, sound design, and color passes.
• Operate camera, lighting, and audio on location and in-studio, partnering with directors and producers to capture required shot lists.
• Manage day-to-day post-production assets, including media ingestion, file organization, version control, and multi-format delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Producers, and Senior Editors to translate creative briefs and feedback into refined final cuts.
• Adapt video assets across multiple aspect ratios and formats tailored for broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
• Explore and implement AI-powered editing and video tools to streamline studio workflows and boost turnaround efficiency.
• Assist with production prep, gear maintenance, and workflow optimization to keep team projects running smoothly.

Role Mission

As Video Editor & Videographer, you will collaborate with the studio team to execute video projects across on-location filming and post-production. Working alongside senior creative leads, you will capture dynamic footage, build engaging edits, and deliver content across multi-channel campaigns for global accounts. The role focuses on hands-on craft, creative support, and driving efficient studio workflows.

Key responsibilities

Skills & experience

• Hands-on experience in professional camera operation, lighting setups, and location audio recording.

• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) with solid capability in narrative editing, sound mixing, and color grading.

• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills, comfortable taking direction and supporting senior team members across fast-paced projects.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a track record of balancing multiple tasks, file pipelines, and platform specifications simultaneously.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative visual storytelling across commercial, digital, and social media content.
