Job summary

EC is seeking a Head of Video to lead the strategic and technical development of our video discipline across high-profile corporate, brand and creative events. Reporting to the Technical Director, you will shape how we deliver video, mentor the team, and drive best practices across projects and stakeholders.

• Extensive experience in live event video system design, deployment and operation.
• Strong knowledge of live event planning, technical delivery and on-site execution.
• Ability to translate creative ambition into robust technical solutions.
• Articulate and credible with clients, venues and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Act as EC’s video SME across projects, pitches and planning.
• Provide clear technical briefings to teams and freelance crew on major projects.
• Review video system designs, signal flow and equipment lists.
• Set video standards, workflows and best-practice guidance for the team.
• Provide senior technical escalation and support on complex projects.
• Lead or support technical approach on major projects with multiple moving parts.
• Mentor and develop junior team members in video practice.
