Job summary

Ashgate Hospicecare in the United Kingdom is seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to create and edit video content, plan social media campaigns and craft engaging written material for web and email communications.

You will film stories with care, manage daily channels, and collaborate with colleagues to turn experiences into content while maintaining sensitivity around life-limiting illness with DBS checks in place.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
• DBS check required as part of pre-employment.
• Nice to have Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year in digital communications/marketing.

Responsibilities

• Idea generation, filming and editing video for social media and campaigns.
• Film colleagues and lived experiences with sensitivity and care.
• Plan and schedule social media posts.
• Create graphics and photography for social media.
• Manage day-to-day social media channels.
• Respond to comments and messages across platforms.
• Monitor performance and adjust content strategies.
• Help keep the website up to date with content.
• Write web, social and email content and assist email marketing.
• Collaborate with Ashgate colleagues to turn ideas into content.
