Job summary

Ashwood Spencer Academy is seeking a Vice Principal for Inclusion to join the Senior Leadership Team. You will lead the development of high-quality SEND provision, champion inclusive practice and drive improvements in attendance, engagement and outcomes for all pupils.

This role has no class-based teaching responsibilities, enabling broad school-wide impact. You will work with staff, families and external agencies to remove barriers to learning and ensure every child feels valued and able to

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Holds, or is working towards, NASENCO or NPQ for SENCOs.
• Has experience leading SEND, inclusion or pastoral provision.
• Strong understanding of attendance and inclusion and their impact on pupil outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEND provision and inclusion strategy across the academy.
• Drive improvements in attendance, engagement and outcomes for all pupils.
• Collaborate with families and external agencies to remove barriers to learning.
• Inspire and develop staff to deliver exceptional inclusive practice.
