Job summary

Oakland Care in Eastbourne is seeking a lively Lifestyles Assistant to deliver a vibrant programme of activities for residents. You’ll plan and lead group sessions, support one-to-one activities, and help create experiences that boost wellbeing with warmth, creativity, and kindness.

Working with the Lifestyles Manager, you’ll run crafts, music, trips, and events, check individual interests, and adapt activities to residents’ needs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals.
• Background in designing/delivering activity programmes.
• Love for music and creativity, capable of leading group and 1-2-1 sessions.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and IT skills; basic photography abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support residents to live life to the fullest with meaningful activities.
• Lead group and 1-2-1 activities and craft sessions.
• Organise events, talks, and social gatherings.
• Plan, arrange, and facilitate a diverse range of activities.
• accompany residents on weekly trips and outings.
